Kacy Barnett-Gramckow is a freelance writer and history fanatic who reads encyclopedias for fun. She and her husband, Jerry, have two sons. Some of Kacy's works have appeared in Seasons of a Woman's Heart, and God's Abundance for Women. She has also written under the pen name of Elizabeth Larson, as seen in A Moment A Day, and The Women's Devotional Bible.

After 18 years in newspaper management, Jerry sensed a call to the other side of the keyboard-that is, to write. So, in 1992, he preempted an impending mid-life career crisis by returning to college. Jerry graduated from Multnomah Bible College with Bible as his major and journalism as his minor. After graduation, Jerry wrote for several newspapers, edited for several book publishers-and became an accomplished tractor jockey while working on his dad's farm-before joining the Focus on the Family staff as an associate editor in 2000. | Send a message to Jerry |
